Salesforce to raise some prices for the first time in 7 years

Salesforce will raise prices for some of its cloud and marketing tools by an average 9% from August, sending its shares up nearly 4% in early trading on Tuesday.

The new prices for Tableau, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Industries will cover new and existing customers.

Its first price hike in seven years comes as revenues from cloud services that grew during the pandemic lockdown have started to slow.

How much will Salesforce raise their prices by?

In August 2023, Salesforce will be increasing list prices by an average of 9% across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Industries and Tableau.

New list pricing will go into effect globally for new customers and existing customers purchasing new clouds in August 2023.

The new list prices will be;

  • Professional Edition $80 USD (up $5)
  • Enterprise Edition $165 USD (up $15)
  • Unlimited Edition $330 USD (up $30).

These editions will be priced comparably in other currencies. Similar list price increases will go into effect for Industries, Marketing Cloud Engagement and Account Engagement, CRM Analytics and Tableau.
